Coat trends may come and go but as far as we’re concerned, a mannish tailored coat is eternal. (Especially in timeless toffee and black.) We love the updates suggested here with the lipstick red 7/8th trousers, walkable heels and squashy clutch.

Congratulations to one of our favourite style classicists; Sofia Coppola married Thomas Mars yesterday in this dreamlike cloud of lavender Alaia… we couldn’t image a more perfect choice.
Dark, slim pants are the hardest working saviours of our wardrobes. We buy in multiples and choose a length that stops above the ankle bone so we can wear with ballet flats, loafers, pointy pumps or three inch heels. In the winter we love them with ankle boots or patent slingbacks.
